Giving Societies
We are so grateful for our Annual Fund Campaign supporters. Their generosity ensures that we meet the needs of our school and our students each and every year. Thank you for your generosity.
Julia Chatfield Society
Annual Fund gifts are recognized in giving levels. The Julia Chatfield Society, named for the Ursuline sister who founded the Ursulines of Brown County in 1845, was established in 1990 to recognize those who make gifts of $1,000 or more each year to the Annual Fund. In cases where an employer matches the gift, the donor receives credit for the total amount. In appreciation for their generosity, members are invited to a Laurel Leadership Recognition Event held each fall.
Julia Chatfield Society Giving Levels:
St. Angela Merici Circle - $10,000+
Benefactors Circle - $5,000+
Trustees Circle - $2,500+
1896 Society - $1,896+
Ursuline Circle - $1,000+
Shirley Gaede Speaks Society
The Shirley Gaede Speaks Society was established in 2007-2008 to recognize those individuals who made gifts of $500 to $999 to Ursuline’s Annual Fund. It is named in honor of Shirley Speaks, long-time director of Ursuline who successfully guided the school through decades of social change and ever-increasing academic expectations. These leadership gifts are essential to Ursuline’s future and allow every student to receive a quality education regardless of cost.
Father Jack Wessling Society
Father Jack Wessling has been a teacher and chaplain at Ursuline for decades. His preaching and teaching have made an impact on every Ursuline student during that time, but more so, his generous and loving spirit has touched every person who has passed through the school. Starting in the 2013-2014 school year, a new giving society was introduced to honor this beloved faculty member. Available to alumnae of the last 20 years, membership in the Father Jack Wessling Society will be extended to graduates who make a yearly Annual Fund gift of $100 or more.
