Ursuline Congratulates its National Merit Semifinalist and Commended Scholars

Ursuline Academy is proud to announce its four seniors recognized in this year's National Merit Program. The National Merit Semifinalist is Berkley Dixon of Kenwood, and the three National Merit Commended Students are Addie Kern of Loveland, Ellie Haas of Mason, and Claire Ratkey of Anderson!

The Ursuline students entered into the nationwide competition for recognition and awards by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The 50,000 highest performers were qualified as Commended Students (roughly 34,000 students) and Semifinalists, the 16,000 highest performers.

"We are very proud of these students who demonstrated a dedication to their academics and our school community," Ursuline Principal Ms. Jill Hallhan said. "The National Merit competition standards have become more and more rigorous over the years, and we congratulate each of the four students for their hard work."
