COVID Policies for the 2022-2023 School Year

See the new ODH Flow Chart we will use to determine quarantine times if a community member tests positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone who has COVID-19.

Please see the flow chart here.

Mask wearing will be an optional choice for all students and faculty/staff for the 2022-2023 school year.

The main office has a limited supply of disposable masks, so students should bring their own mask with them to school for Mask Preferred Classrooms and for the option of wearing them at all school assemblies.

The courtyard is designated as a mask free zone for those that choose to wear masks as well as all students since it is outdoors.

If you are going to fill out a Remote Request Application for your daughter, please make sure you submit it by 4 p.m. the day before your daughter may be out, so teachers can be notified with adequate time to prepare for remote learners joining their class the following day.

The Request Application is here, below in the Covid Polices section, and under Current Families on the website.

We have added a form to Final Forms that will allow you to upload your daughter's vaccination documentation. If your daughter has been fully vaccinated and you would like it to be part of her immunization records, please use this link to FinalForms to upload a photo of her card.

If you have already emailed her documentation to Nurse Broderick, you do not need to fill out the form on FinalForms.

Ursuline is not making reporting of a student's vaccination status mandatory. It is optional and a parental decision to have a child vaccinated or not. However, it will be helpful to have the vaccine information for students for any possible contact tracing for COVID positive students and subsequent reporting that may be necessary to Hamilton County Public Health. If your daughter is identified as a close contact during contact tracing and we do not have her vaccination status, she will be sent home where she will have to remain until we receive her vaccination status documentation to allow her back into the classroom.

Again, the decisions to vaccinate and to share that information with the school will be made by the family unless required by the health department. We will respect the decisions made by the family and expect the same for all members of our community. Ursuline did not require vaccination of all faculty and staff, seeing it as a personal choice to be vaccinated or not. This applies to the students also.
