To be considered for admission to Ursuline Academy, current 8th grade students must:
- complete this online application form;
- take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and have scores sent to Ursuline; and
- release grade school records to Ursuline.
High School Placement Test (HSPT)
Young women in the 8th grade can take the HSPT on Saturday, November 17 at Ursuline Academy or at another testing location. The fee for taking the test at Ursuline is $30. If a student takes the HSPT at another location, she should select to have her scores sent to Ursuline Academy.
Grade School Records
Admission to Ursuline Academy is based primarily on the student’s HSPT score, but also on seventh and eighth grade performance and elementary school standardized tests. Grade schools should send the records listed in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Release of Records Authorization form directly to Ursuline Academy for any student who is applying to Ursuline.
If the student applying for admission to Ursuline is currently enrolled at a local Catholic grade school, her family should have already received the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Release of Records Authorization form through the grade school.
If the student applying for admission to Ursuline is currently enrolled at any other school, or if you need a new form, please print and complete the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Release of Records Authorization Form. The completed form should be returned to the office at the student’s grade school no later than November 1, 2018 so that her records can be sent to Ursuline.
