Find your groove. Join the UA Dance Team to share your love of dance through performance and competition.
Our audition-based team competes in Pom, Open, and Kick competitions, showcasing unique talents and skills. In spring 2025, our team brought home two National Championship title banners in Kick and Open from the Showcase Midwest National Championship. Each year, UA Dance Seniors have the chance to win scholarship awards at their competitions, and the team has brought home four scholarships over the past three seasons! The Dance Team offers a summer camp so you can try out the experience before coming to UA.
Summer Clinic
See what it's like to be on UADT!
Register for our free summer clinic to test drive the Dance Team experience, help you decide if you would like to try out, and help build some skills that will give you a leg up at tryouts! The clinic is open to both incoming freshmen and returning students. It’s a great way to meet some of your future classmates!
Dates: Tuesday, Aug. 4 and Thursday, Aug. 6
Location: Ursuline Academy Main Gym
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The clinic is offered two evenings. Feel free to sign up for one or both — whatever works for your schedule!
Dance Team Tryouts

Team tryouts will be in the small gym from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on
- Monday, Aug. 31
- Tuesday, Sept. 1
- Thursday, Sept. 3
Any student interested in joining the team must complete the dance team application before tryouts begin.

Dancers Wanted!
If competitive dance isn't your thing, try auditioning for the Fall Musical or Spring Play. Dance is incorporated in all of our stage productions.
