World Languages offers students the opportunity to expand their horizons and travel to new destinations. Students will journey beyond what is familiar to them both inside and, in some cases, outside the classroom to learn about a new culture. The five Cs – communication, comparisons, communities, culture, and connections – work together to aid students in achieving level-appropriate proficiency in the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing within a cultural framework of a second language
Our students begin the process of becoming world citizens with deep understanding of and respect for the culture, history, geography, and some of the contemporary challenges that other countries face.
