Tuition and Financial Aid

Need-based aid is determined by your family’s FACTS application, which closes on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.

Financial Aid is awarded to students by Ursuline and through grants and endowed scholarships made possible by our generous donors. Award criteria is determined by the fund creator and varies from fund to fund.

Ursuline uses FACTS, an organization that analyzes a family’s finances, to assist in making tuition assistance decisions. Typically, we are able to meet about 75-85% of a family’s need as determined by FACTS.

All families applying for need-based financial assistance for the 2026-2027 school year must complete the FACTS application by Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.  We will update this page when the FACTS application portal opening date is determined. Typically, it opens for new and returning families at the same time.

Fill out the online FACTS application. Afterwards, you must send the following information to FACTS to complete the application process:

• Copies of your 2024 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
• Copies of your 2024 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
• Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF format online. Documentation can also be faxed to 866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below. Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.

Upon enrollment at Ursuline, all financial aid applicants must also complete the EdChoice Expansion Application. UA need-based aid is reduced by any EdChoice funds received.

Ursuline Academy participates in Ohio's EdChoice Scholarship Programs. Incoming freshmen and transfer students who are Ohio residents are eligible for a full or partial EdChoice Scholarship. 

Ohio residents can qualify for the Traditional EdChoice Scholarship based upon district of residence or through the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship based upon household income.

We encourage all families to take advantage of these programs. Review the questions below to determine your eligibility.

• Do you live in a qualifying district? Families who reside in the following districts can possibly qualify for enrollment in the EdChoice Traditional Scholarship Program, depending on assigned school: Cincinnati Public Schools, Lockland Local Schools, Middletown City Schools, Mt. Healthy City Schools, North College Hill City Schools. In 2024-2025, the award amount for high school students was $8,408. You may apply for an EdChoice Traditional Scholarship when the portal opens on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. Review the 2025-2026 EdChoice Fact Sheet for more information.
• Do you live in a district not covered through the EdChoice Traditional Scholarship Program? You can still qualify for an EdChoice Expansion Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded based upon household income using a sliding scale, and all applicants will be awarded at least the minimum award amount. In 2024-2025, the minimum award amount for high school students was $840. If you are a resident of Ohio, you are able to apply for an EdChoice Expansion Scholarship when the portal opens on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. Please note: The Ohio Legislature may change scholarship amounts under new budget effective July 1, 2025. You may not apply for an EdChoice award until your daughter is admitted to Ursuline.

Four-year, merit scholarships are awarded to eighth graders with exceptional academic achievement.

Merit scholarships are awarded to students by Ursuline and through grants and endowed scholarships made possible by our generous donors. 

Eighth grade girls who apply to Ursuline by the Dec. 7, 2025 application deadline and take the HSPT on the official date (Saturday, Nov. 22) are automatically considered for merit scholarships.

Awards are based solely on the applicant's HSPT performance; applicants do not need to complete a separate scholarship application. Transfer applicants and incoming freshmen who apply after the December deadline (or those who do not take the HSPT on the official date) are not eligible for these awards. You will be notified about any merit-based scholarship awards with your Ursuline acceptance letter in January.
