Entrance Test Information

Update: July 15, 2020

Ursuline has received notice from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati that the Archdiocesan High School Entrance and Placement Test used by all Catholic high schools in Cincinnati will be waived for the 2020-2021 academic year due to Covid-19. This is the test that was to replace the previously used HSPT.

Ursuline Academy is actively evaluating our admissions processes and procedures in light of this new development, and we are confident that we will determine a process that fairly and appropriately assesses the application of each young woman who applies to Ursuline's Class of 2025. We will keep you updated as we make decisions.

Regardless of the ever-changing circumstances with the pandemic, we promise to provide a meaningful and informative admissions process for your daughters so that you can make an informed high school decision.

St. Angela Merici, the foundress of the Ursuline Sisters, once wrote: “If according to times and circumstance, the need arises to make new rules or do something differently, do it prudently and with good advice.” We take her words to heart as we embrace the challenges and opportunities for creativity that this upcoming school year provides.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to getting to know you and your daughters over the coming months.

Warmest regards,

Ashley Enyeart Higgins '09, Director of Admissions
