Ursuline Academy

The Beat is a biannual event hosted by the Ursuline Performing Arts department that provides students from area high schools the opportunity to perform music, song, dance, comedy or poetry readings in a coffeehouse environment. Students interested in performing must submit an application, and will be limited to two performances. Ursuline student leaders along with a faculty moderator will vet the applications, create a set list, and emcee The Beat. Attendance is open to all students and parents and admission is $1. All proceeds go to a music organization in need. Cookies, coffee, and water will be provided. Applications for student performances will be available on the Music Room door.
