Ursuline is my second home. The community is amazing; both students and faculty are supportive and encouraging of each other. When I had a bad day or did poorly in a class, they would give me a hug and sympathy, but likewise when I did something wonderful, they were the first to congratulate me. I learned a lot from Ursuline - but none more important than the lessons of self-worth. As a freshman at Miami, I am well prepared academically for college, but my heart still hasn't left the halls of Ursuline. And I sense that it never will.
-Anne Lame '01, Cardinal Pacelli
The compelling Ursuline spirit inspired my best as a student at Oak Street (the former campus) and continues to guide me as a veteran teacher at UA on Pfeiffer. Educating today's young women to view their world with a critical and compassionate eye honors and continues that spirit, and it is my privilege to do so.
-Marilyn Parks Herring '68, Alumna and Faculty Member
The challenge of the open classrooms has made me become a more focused and independent learner.
-Ann Zarick '02, St. Mary's, Hyde Park
The first week I made lots of friends and met lots of teachers and students. After a week or two... it's home.
-Erica Baker '05 , Annunciation
With the modular schedule comes a newfound freedom and responsibility; also, being in an all-girls environment takes off lots of pressures.
-Kelsey Smetts '05, Sycamore Junior High
The schedule makes things more interesting; you don't get bogged down with the same daily routine. Ursuline offers more AP courses and world languages than any other school I looked at. And the teachers treat us like adults; they respect us and it's easy to have a good relationship with them.
-Deborah Dryer '02, Little Flower
Ursuline has allowed me to be myself, and that has given me a lot of self confidence that I did not have in grade school.
-Jill Mueller, '02 St. Gertrude
