The mathematics program is designed
to meet the varied needs of college-bound students. Courses are offered at
all levels up to AP Calculus (AB) and (BC).
The curriculum
emphasizes critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems of a
variety of types and varying degrees of difficulty; accuracy and facility
in performing fundamental mathematical operations; the appropriate use of
technology and appreciation of the aesthetic nature and the structure of
mathematics.
We encourage and assist each student in studying the
mathematics appropriate to her ability, interests and ambitions.
