 Ursuline 2010 Profile for
Colleges
Ursuline Academy is a four year,
independent Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women with
an enrollment of 714. The school was founded by the Ursuline Sisters
of Brown County, Ohio in 1896 and draws qualified students from
approximately 50 different elementary schools. A modular schedule
allows for flexibiity in planning required and elective courses, many of
which are offered at the college prep, honors, and AP levels.
Academic Profile
Due to enrollment limits, our entrance requirements have
significantly increased over the last several years. Both factors have
created an even more academically select population

Of the 129 members of the graduating class of 2009 with
acceptances at 164 colleges and universities, 99% are continuing
their education at 54 colleges.
Faculty
A staff of 62 professional educators has received undergraduate
and graduate training at 40 different colleges and universities. Most
staff members have done graduate work with 75% holding at least a masters
degree. The student-to-faculty ratio is 12 to 1.
