Relay for Life
Each year, Ursuline Academy participates in the
Montgomery/ Indian Hill Relay for Life. This signature fundraiser for
the American Cancer Society is an 18 hour event to honor those battling
cancer and to remember those we have lost to cancer. Relay for Life
is regularly held in May.
UA students and families will form teams of 8-10
people, including at least one adult, who commit to raising $100 per
team member and to having at least one team member walking at all times
during this 18 hour event.
Parents participation is very much needed given the
high amount of student interest in this event. We are currently
looking for a couple of parents to serve on the Multi-School Relay
Planning Committee. The team meets once a month and coordinates all
aspects of the relay itself, including food, entertainment, the survivor's
lap and banquet, and more.
