    R.A.I.S.E.
    Raising African-American Awareness in a School and Social Environment
     
    Membership in RAISE is extended to any African American student within the Independent School Network of Cincinnati schools. Network members are Ursuline Academy, St. Ursula Academy, St. Xavier High School, Seven Hills School, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, Cincinnati Country Day School ,and Summit Country Day School.
     
    The mission of RAISE is to develop programs and activities that further academic achievement and communication among all students. RAISE strives to effect positive change in schools in regards to African American issues, cultural awareness, student retention, and counseling. RAISE members meet bi-monthly and also attend events throughout the academic year that introduce them to the larger community. RAISE is sponsored by the Queen City Foundation.
     
    Meetings are held at Xavier University.
