 Over-the-Rhine Community Housing
Formerly known as ReStoc, Over-the-Rhine Community Housing is
dedicated to making sure that quality, low income housing is available for
those who need it. For this project, UA students work on Saturday "rehab"
days to help clean and maintain apartment homes for those in
need.
Parent volunteers are needed to work along side our students at this
important project. In fact, we are only able to offer this
opportunity to our students because parents also volunteer with us at Over
the Rhine Community Housing. Work includes painting, housekeeping
type cleaning, and trash pick up. While these jobs seem minor, when
they are done by volunteers, the skilled maintenance employees of Over the
Rhine Community Housing are freed up to do the larger maintenance
tasks.
Help from parents is needed on the following dates:
- October 20
- November 10
- December 8
- January 12
- February 9
- March 8
- April 12
- May 10
We meet at UA at 8:00 am and return to the school by 12:30 pm. If you
ould like to work with our UA students at this project, please contact
Ruthie Barnes at 791-5791, ext. 2225 or via e-mail at rbarnes@ursulineacademy.org.
