    Coordinator of Annual Giving
     
    Ursuline Academy of Cincinnati is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women in grades 9-12. The school has been providing an outstanding education since 1896.  Additional information about Ursuline may be found at www.ursulineacademy.org.
     
    Ursuline Academy seeks an energetic, self-motivated individual to join the Development staff.  The Coordinator of Annual Giving reports to the Director of Development and is responsible for assisting with the planning of the Annual Fund, as well as organizing and executing the annual fundraising campaign.  This is a full-time, salaried position.  Weekend and evening availability is essential, as is the ability for limited travel.
     
    Primary responsibility is directing annual solicitation of trustees, alumnae, parents, past parents, friends, grandparents, and faculty and staff for support of the Annual Fund.  The director is also responsible for the planning of special events for Annual Fund donors, including, but not limited to the Donor Recognition Dinner, cultivation and/or stewardship events, and events to encourage Annual Fund participation from the senior class. 
     
    The Coordinator of Annual Giving is also responsible for cultivating relationships and executing programs for the Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) in order to keep them connected to Ursuline Academy.  Responsibilities would include coordinating events targeting GOLD alumnae, finding ways to engage younger alumnae, and keeping their contact information updated for the purposes of communication.   
     
    Additional duties include:
    ·         Working with Development Director and the Development Committee to establish annual  revenue and enrollment goals for leadership donor societies
    ·         Working with Development Director and the Development Committee to establish Annual Fund revenue and participation goals for each constituency
    ·         Identifying and rating prospects for leadership donor society membership
    ·         Cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of leadership Annual Fund donors and prospective donors
    ·         Developing annual fund campaign timeline
    ·         Recruiting and working with volunteers to assist with specific fundraising projects
    ·         Managing all aspects of phonathons including recruiting, training, and working with student, alumnae, and parent volunteers
    ·         Conducting the senior gift campaign including setting goals, recruiting volunteers, and soliciting seniors for the Annual Fund
    ·         Other duties as assigned
     
    Qualifications:

    Bachelors Degree is required

    Competence in word processing and database management.  Experience with Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

    Some experience in fundraising, alumni relations, non-profit volunteer leadership, constituent outreach and/or sales is a plus

    Strong communication, presentation and writing skills mandatory

    Ability to conduct personal solicitations and manage volunteers

    Understanding of and commitment to education and the mission of Ursuline Academy
