Drop Inn Center

Ursuline Academy serves dinner at the Drop Inn Center on the fourth Monday of each month.  Through this project, our students get to put a face and a name to the problem of homelessness. Our students hear the stories of people who are homeless as well share a smile with the people we serve. Often our students are struck by the gratitude expressed by the individuals to whom we distribute food.  his project allows our students to see and respect the dignity of each person and to see the homeless not as a group or a statistic but as individual human beings each with his or her own story. Students are always accompanied in this project by a parent or teacher, and we welcome your involvement.
