Ursuline Academy strives to provide a creative
educational environment in which young women are assisted and encouraged
to assume responsibility for their education. Admission is contingent upon
the following:
a. successful completion of the previous school year b.
recommendation from the previous school c. a satisfactory composite
score on the Scholastic Testing Service High
School Placement Test
Students will be considered on the basis of
merit. Placement in the class will be available within a designated time
period for all students to whom admission has been offered.
After
students are admitted to Ursuline, their placement in classes is
determined as follows:
a. placement in honors classes is ascertained
by pertinent entrance test scores b. placement
in higher level courses is ascertained by ability
to successfully complete a diagnostic test in the
pertinent subject area
All such placement is done with
parental approval.
