Your 2012 Senior Giving Campaign
It has become a custom for the senior class to give back to UA by supporting the Annual Fund campaign. Seniors show their appreciation and gratitude for the Ursuline education they have received here. This is a great opportunity for graduating seniors to give the gift of new friendships, rigorous academics, numerous extracurricular activities, and the friendly home-away-from-home atmosphere of Ursuline. As almost-alumnae, this is the first opportunity to give back. Philanthropy is a long-standing tradition at Ursuline, so let’s carry it on!
Donations from the senior class go toward financial aid for current and future students. Tuition this year only covers about 83% of the cost of an Ursuline education and the Senior Class donations -as well as all Annual Fund contributions-- help close the 17% gap. The gap this year is $2,351 per student. It has been a recent tradition for graduating students to honor their class by pledging the amount of the class year (this year it is $20.12) a year for five years. Seniors making their first contribution by graduation will be recognized on a donor plaque with others of your class who have done the same.
Your class has a Class Gift committee to guide you through the process of making a donation. This year, your Class Gift reps are:
Dani Dailey
Jen Holbrook
Katie Kaes
Katrina Maricocchi
Loretta Malloy
Christina Tefend
Emily White
Abby Wulf
