Graduation for the Class of 2014 will take place Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Ursuline Academy in the Gymnasium. The ceremony will begin at 7 PM and last until approximately 8:30 PM. Graduates will need to be present by 5:30 PM.
Graduates wear white dresses, carry red roses, and receive the traditional laurel wreath during the ceremony.
Graduation Dresses Guidelines
- Appropriate for a high school graduation
- White or slightly off-white
- Tea-length ( mid calf) or longer
- Cut of bodice should be modest – not backless, strapless, nor low cut in front
- Dresses should be ordered as soon as possible to ensure delivery and reduce charges –March 1 recommended
- Appropriate undergarments in flesh tone suggested
White, with a comfortable heel to manage the steps. (No flip flops)
Graduation rehearsal for graduates is mandatory on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 9-11 AM and Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Tickets for Graduation
Each graduate will receive 2 parent tickets in reserved seating; approximately 4 tickets in general admission seating; 2 tickets for live-feed in the Theater – Information regarding special circumstances or seating will be sent to parents later in the school year.
A Baccalaureate Mass will be held in the Ursuline Academy Besl Theater on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 3 PM. Everyone is invited but attendance is not mandatory. No tickets are required.
NOTE: All tuition and fees must be received by Friday, May 16, 2014, in order for graduates to receive diplomas and/or final transcripts
