The Annual Fund is Ursuline’s largest and most sustainable vehicle for supporting the school’s operating needs. Annual Fund dollars are typically unrestricted and are not usually spent on items outside of the school’s annual operating budget. The dollars raised in this annual appeal help fund the many facets of an Ursuline education – including the outstanding educational curriculum, a low student/faculty ratio, top notch faculty and staff, and maintenance of our campus. Annual fund gifts also help close the $2,179 gap between tuition and the cost to educate each student, thus providing every student with a scholarship, regardless if she pays tuition. Contributors to each year’s campaign include alumnae, Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, parents of alumnae, grandparents, and friends. Annual Fund gifts are tax-deductible.

Annual Fund gifts are accepted via personal check, credit card, or in stock. Pledges may be fulfilled incrementally on a schedule of your choosing anytime prior to June 30, 2013. Match a Gift
Many companies offer a matching gifts program to support their employees’ philanthropy. The company will match, double, or even triple an employee’s philanthropic contribution to a non-profit organization. Leadership Gifts & The Julia Chatfield Society
Annual Fund Gifts are recognized in giving levels. The Julia Chatfield Society, named for the Ursuline sister who founded the Ursulines of Brown County in 1845, was established in 1990 to recognize those individuals who make leadership gifts of $1,000 or more each year to the Annual Fund. In cases where an employer matches the gift, the donor receives credit for the total amount. Members are invited to The Julia Chatfield Society Recognition Mass and Dinner held each fall in appreciation for their generosity. Annual Giving Levels: St. Angela Merci Circle - $10,000+, 1896 Circle - $5,000-$9,999, Benefactors Circle $3,000-$4,999, Founders Circle - $2,000-$2,999 and Ursuline Circle $1,000-$1,999.
