Electronic & Digital Media

Ursuline’s Electronic and Digital Media Program challenges students to explore film and digital media through the Arts.

In the Electronic Media Track, students learn storytelling skills through scriptwriting, filming, and editing. Projects include short films, documentaries, television broadcasts, music videos, commercials, and public service announcements. Courses offered in the Electronic Media Track include:

    • Introduction to Media Production
    • Video Production I: Visual Storytelling
    • Video Production II: The Art of Documentary
    • Television Production I: Broadcast Journalism
    • Television Production II: Advanced Broadcast Journalism
    • Advanced Film Studio

In the Digital Media Track, students learn color theory, typography theory, and design principles to create websites, logos, corporate materials, infographics, brochures, newsletters, posters, and flyers. Courses offered in the Digital Media Track include:

    • Introduction to Technical Communication (Digital Media)
    • Introduction to Web Design
    • Print Media and Design
