Dr. Patricia Boehm '94, Interim President

Patricia Norton Boehm ’94 currently serves as the interim president of Ursuline Academy and will become its next president, effective July 1, 2024. Prior to assuming the interim presidency, Boehm was Ursuline’s major gifts officer for one year as well as the head of the continuity team. She currently serves as a trustee for the Ursuline Education Network, and she holds educator, principal, and superintendent licensures in Ohio and North Carolina.

Boehm served for three years as the associate head of school for UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile, Alabama. Her work focused on fulfilling the school mission through carrying out strategic goals, such as standards and curriculum alignment for grades K3-12. She also served for six years as the UMS-Wright Lower School principal.

Boehm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education at Miami University and both a Master of Education in educational leadership and a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from High Point University. She began her teaching career in Ohio and also taught elementary and middle school in North Carolina and South Carolina before transitioning into school leadership for Davidson County Schools. There, she served as an assistant principal, instructional coach, federal programs coordinator, and coordinator of teacher recruitment and support prior to joining UMS-Wright.

Ms. Kristen Rojas '85, Principal

I am thrilled to be part of continuing our strong legacy, fueling the long-lasting impact that our empowered graduates make within their communities, families, and professions.  In the vision of St. Angela Merici, I have witnessed resilience, leadership, innovation, and service from the incredible women that pass through these halls.  I cannot wait to come home to Ursuline and immerse myself back in our wonderful community!

Ms. Kerrie Katsetos, Assistant Principal

Ms. Katsetos serves both as an Assistant Principal and part-time Spanish Teacher here at UA, bringing both classroom and administrative experience to support our Student Activities programming. She works closely with Student Council and the Community Ministries Department in order to foster alignment to our mission through the many student-led clubs and activities offered at Ursuline Academy.

Ms. Katsetos joined Ursuline in 2019 and was most recently Assistant Principal at DePaul Cristo Rey High School. She has a B.S. from University of Cincinnati in Spanish and secondary education and an M.Ed. from Xavier University.

Ms. Elizabeth Gromada, Dean of Students

Ms. Gromada began her career at Ursuline in 2007 after over a decade in the corporate world. She has taught World History, US History, Economics, Current Issues, AP World History, AP Economics, and Intro. to Sociology. She was also on the Accreditation Steering Committee in 2017-19 and was sophomore class moderator in 2016-2020. She earned a B.A. from George Washington University and an M.Ed. from Xavier University. She is currently taking classes towards an Administrator License at the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Gromada serves as Dean of Students and works closely with Administration and Counseling to ensure our students are following school policies and attending their classes in order to realize academic excellence.
